Fun At Build A Bear

Keith and I had a wonderful time taking Ocean to Build A Bear on Sat. night he was so sweet from picking his bear to kisses the heart he put inside the bear. Keith and I have enjoyed Ocean we never got to experience a toddler together so this is so fun for us and it great praactice for our own Grankd kids Hint hint Ashley and Brent Ha ha!!!!!!! We thank savannah everday for letting us be apart of their lives.

It can't be any sweeter, Emily and Meagan were home during Thanksgiving and Meagan had gotten out of the hospital and Ocean was sleeping with Emily. He would sleep with each girl and cuddle them as he says. I got this picture while he feel asleep with Emily.

Christmas lights

It has been a long time since we took a "little one" to see Christmas lights, Keith, Emily and myself took Ocean to see the lights in Huntsville. He was delighted by each different set up. Keith and I enjoyed watching him as much as the lights. We have been greatly blessed by having Ocean and his family in our lives. Keith and I go through days of missing him on weekends unless we get to have him for the night, he comes daily to our house and I take him to school and pick him up. There are those days when he says" No way" when school is talked about and I cave. He has both of us wrapped. Thank you Mom for letting us have him some days.

We are sill here........

We are all fine Meagan is out of the Hospital and back in T-town. Emily is loving her college life at Auburn. Ashley, Brent and charlie are doing well. We have an addition to our family, Emily got a new puppy Nora this year. We had a great holiday except Meagan and I miss spending time with grandma Carol and grandpa and Memaw and pap. If you don't know we missed some great eating and wonderful company. Keith and I have the pleasure of having a wonderful 2 year old in our life. Savannah's son Ocean has stolen our hearts, I get hime in the morning and take him to daycare then pick him up, on occasion he spends the night with us we have fallen in love. I will post pics soon.

Our Trip To The Gulf !

We had a great time visiting with Keith's sister Susan and her husband Tim this pasted weekend. We went down to the beach at the state park and saw first hand the oil on the beach. You can see the large area that the oil is in. the beach looks clean where they are continuing to run tractors over the beach and clean the sand. You can see however many, many large dumpsters that hold the oil all along the beach. We were sad to see this for ourselves, it one thing to hear about this and then see it for yourself.

This is sweet Caroline, she is Timmy's daughter. we loved getting to see her.

How our Garden Grows!

This year Keith and I are trying our hand at growing tomatoes and peppers, so far we have lots of green tomatoes and have eaten several peppers. We hope this turns out to be a great experience, we are already talking of expanding our little garden next year. Wish us luck and if we have a surplus you may get some home grown veggies given to you.

Father's Day for the BEST Dad EVER!!!!

We were able to go out to eat with all the kids on Sat. night. We had a great time visiting and pigging out. On Sunday Keith, Emily, Meagan and I went to church and then went out to eat with Grammie and Scarlett. When we got back home the crazy two daughters presented dear Dad with his presents, They had gone shopping and came up with some funny gifts, stories behind them, it was really funny. When you get Emily and Meagan together you never know what to expect, that is except laughter I mean deep belly laughing. Everone need that once in awhile. I love the girls all being here and enjoying their company.

We had a great time at Ana and Tyler's Wedding, the girls were as pretty as always. We were excited to see Baby Ella, Andy and Nicole Ward's new baby.

A Memorial Day To Rember

We had a great day together, Brent and Ashley came over to the boat as did Emily. We were short one Meagan "we missed you" ! We had a great time, the rain came and went, so we brought the T.V. outside and watched the Braves. I was nice just being together. We also let Ace make the trip. Sorry Brodie you are just to big.

Keith's big BREAK !!!!

Here sits Ace and Keith with his foot up. Last Friday he fell while working and broke his foot. He would not go to the doctor until Monday and he sent him to an ortho, yes it is broken. The black and blue coloring and the huge swelling was a big hint. He was told to take time off and rest NOT going to happen. He is such a hard worker and does so much for our family no matter what. I love him so much, he is the best Dad and Husband ever. His birthday and father's day are in June but as my kids and I know,he gives his all for us everyday, we want him to know how much he is loved and appreciated.

House is Ready For summer

Keith and I have worked again this year on making the house look inviting. We also made a mini garden this year with tomatoes and peppers. We have enjoyed our little patio behind the house we've grilled almost every weekend. Yes, the grill Brodie and I put together is still holding up and has cooked some great steaks. I hate for extreme hot weather to come and bugs....... this will move us from the backyard to the boat. We are planning on spending Memorial day there already.

TGIF and Weekends

Friday I bought a new grill thinking that it would be in a few pieces and I would just need to put a few things together and we would be ready to grill. After bringing it home, I opened the box and dumped in on the floor.... after about 50 parts fell to the ground Brodie looked at me as to say Mom that's more than a few pieces. After one hour and help from Brodie ( the instructions said two people needed) we got it together. Keith, Emily and I enjoyed some great steak, we ate outside and had a nice time. Sat. Keith and Emily worked and I used my gift card from them to get my nails done......it was so nice to get pampered. Thanks you for the gift and the free time to get it done. Saturday night we went to Katie Brock's wedding, and got to see Ashley and Brent, spending time with them is always fun.
Sunday, Emily and Keith went to church after Keith and I went to Lowes and bought some new plants for the front yard and planted them, I then started painting the outside doors. I finished all the back doors, the side and garage doors, I still need to paint the front one. It got dark and I needed to cook dinner so I called it quits for the night. All in all it was a wonderful weekend. We are now watching the Celebrity Apprentice, soon our company's episode will air, May 2. We are excited to see how they represent our company on the show. Thanks for my Birthday !

THANKS for my surprize party. I was feeling sorry for myself, 45 was hitting me worst than the big 40. Last night Emily and Keith arranged a party for me at Mamaw's house. The guest were mamaw, pawpaw, Mom, Dad, Pam, keith and Emily. I had great food and Emily had gone the extra mile to decorate with balloons, pink plates and napkins.Emily got the best cake, no candles we did not want to start a fire. This morning I've had calls from Meagan, Susan, Tom, Ashley and Mom. It has already been a great birthday.

Guntersville and back and back

You see this weekend Keith and I planned to go to Guntersville to stay on our boat and relax. Keith had to work late Friday so we just went over late had dinner and turned in. Sat. he had a work related call so we came home around 10:00 a.m., he went to the job and I stayed home. We found out that Emily's car was not running correctly so I let her take my car to work. That meant we had to drive the truck back to the lake. While shopping in the store to grill out once we arrived in Guntersville I asked Keith the question "Did you get the boat key from the house?" He answered with a quiet NO. This meant that we had to return to the house and either stay at home or drive back. We decided to make the most of it and drive home and get the key and go back. It was worth it. Sunday we took the boat out and just relaxed in the sun. I think Keith would live on the boat if I would go along with it.
This week they pulled the boat out of the water to clean and paint the bottom. Keith had to go back over Monday to look at it and tell them what all we wanted done. Here are some pictures of the boat out of the water.

THE EGG HUNTING WINNERS ARE!!!!!!!!

The second prize winners were Brent and Ashley. Papaw hides the eggs so well that he has to find the leftovers himself when the kids and audults give up. This year there was no "digging" involved. Last year they needed shovels to find the eggs. Thanks, Memaw and Papaw for having all of us at your home.... food was super as usually.

Easter 2010

We had a wonkerful time this weekend, we visited Brent and Ashley's church Saturday night for a special Easter service. It was nice to see their church, it is beautiful. Sunday morning Keith and his dad went to Sun Rise service at the Prewitt's chapel on their farm, Keith said it was really nice. Next was church at Central we had all three girls, Brent, Grammie and Scarlett at church. After we went to Memaw and Papaw's for lunch and a wild egg hunt.

Family Visit

We are excited to have Keith's sister Susan and her husband Tim here for the weekend. Last night Mamaw and Papaw came out to eat and play spinner with us.Emily got hme from work in time to ref. the last few rounds of the game. If you have not ever played with Mamaw, you are missing out on a night of fun. She REALLY wants to win, let's just say she will have you cracking up in no time. We plan to visit the Space and Rocket Center today and stroll around Bridge Street. Maybe I'll post some picture from the day later. Have a great weekend.

Just to catch you up!

Today I am doing the normal Saturday stuff, grocery shopping, cleaning, washing clothes and all those fun things. Keith has gone to Guntersville to the boat to hang out and sale the "little boat" the jet boat we have been using it for the kid to play in while we anchor the big boat in the lake. The passed summer we did not use it but once and it has just been taking up half of the garage, so the sale was decided. I know he is having fun, now he is eating with some friend and staying the night in Guntersville. Emily is working until 8:oo that girl works all the time , but I'm sure she loves the money. Yesterday she was able to spend time with some friend and just be a kid no WORK. Meagan is in Troy for the weekend with her friend Judith, they have been friend since Elementary school. Fun for them. I wish I could see Meagan more but she is always busy... I think that is what a 20 year old is supposed to do. Brent and Ashley are in Birmingham, I miss them. Ashley was home last weekend and I was sick, I did not get to spend time with her. I wish I could take all three of the girls on a trip to just hang out together. Maybe...... hint, hint they could think about that. Well back to the house. This next weekend Keith's parents are coming home, his sister Susan and her husband Tim are helping them bring their camper home. Tim and Susan are staying the weekend with us. I am excited we have not seen them in about 3 weeks. If you have any ideas of what we could take them to do in the Huntsville area let me know. Well back to work.

Brodie and Ace New Treats

While shopping today I picked up some DentalStix for the dogs, with the plan that this might help their breath. Well the way they acted I've foung doggie gold. They love them..... here are some picture of them begging for more. I don't know about the breath thing, but they would at this point do anything for them.

Sunday Night Fun!!

Meagan was home the first time since the holidays and we enjoyed her. Sunday, Emily and Keith went on their training for the big 5k in Sept., so Meagan joined them. After, they played basketball and went off looking for rocks to build a fire pit. They were back soon with rocks and firewood. We had a great time just cooking hot dogs and marsh mellow over the fire. People these days forget how fun it is to just hang out with your kids doing something like this, no money just fun. I think that the girls remember times like this more than a fancy party where more planning goes into than fun. The girls talked about the time they went with Keith "tent camping" they were in about 2nd and 3rd grade and cooked steaks and got to eat them with their HANDS.......Mom was definitely not there!!!!!

Enjoying Her New C.D.

Birthday Lunch For Meagan :)

We went to church today and then Grammie took all of us out for Meagan's birthday lunch, to Red Lobster! It was great, we all ate until we were stuffed. When we got home Emily gave Meagan her present a C.D. by Queen Meagan is lying in the floor and listened to it with the dogs, while Emily is getting ready for them to visit G-Ma a.k.a. grandmother Carol. Keith is getting ready for their first training day for the 5k, yes, I said 5k run. Ashley and Keith planned to run the 5k at Depot day's this Sept. Since the challenge was put out several have made the decision to join in so...Meagan and Emily are also stepping up to the challenge, Brent and I plan to be at the finish line with defibrillator in hand.

Hanging Out With Family

On Saturday night Keith, Meagan and I went over to Joey and Kelly Ward's our niece and nephew to visit with Keith's sister Janet and our great nephew Hunter. March 2 is Joey's 34th b-day and March 3rd, as you have heard, is Meagan's 20 we had grilled steak and cake. We had a super time hanging out with a small part of Keith's family. Meagan and Hunter played Wii and wrestled, Hunter has started karate and he showed us some new moves.....also his famous dancing moves. You have to see his dancing to appreciate it. ha ha !!! We really need to get together with them more often.

Brodie Taking Back His Truck!!!

If you know anthing about our business you know that Brodie has gone to work with Keith or myself since he was a puppy and now we have moved our business to a new building behind our house there is NO RIDE to work.....poor Brodie. Friday I opened the door to a turck to check the window and Brodie was quick to jump into the truck. It took me getting a cheese treat to get him out. He wants to ride and now he is limited to going to the bank or maybe a job now and then with Keith. He is so cute in the Ben truck.
