Birthday Lunch For Meagan :)

We went to church today and then Grammie took all of us out for Meagan's birthday lunch, to Red Lobster! It was great, we all ate until we were stuffed. When we got home Emily gave Meagan her present a C.D. by Queen Meagan is lying in the floor and listened to it with the dogs, while Emily is getting ready for them to visit G-Ma a.k.a. grandmother Carol. Keith is getting ready for their first training day for the 5k, yes, I said 5k run. Ashley and Keith planned to run the 5k at Depot day's this Sept. Since the challenge was put out several have made the decision to join in so...Meagan and Emily are also stepping up to the challenge, Brent and I plan to be at the finish line with defibrillator in hand.

Hanging Out With Family

On Saturday night Keith, Meagan and I went over to Joey and Kelly Ward's our niece and nephew to visit with Keith's sister Janet and our great nephew Hunter. March 2 is Joey's 34th b-day and March 3rd, as you have heard, is Meagan's 20 we had grilled steak and cake. We had a super time hanging out with a small part of Keith's family. Meagan and Hunter played Wii and wrestled, Hunter has started karate and he showed us some new moves.....also his famous dancing moves. You have to see his dancing to appreciate it. ha ha !!! We really need to get together with them more often.

Brodie Taking Back His Truck!!!

If you know anthing about our business you know that Brodie has gone to work with Keith or myself since he was a puppy and now we have moved our business to a new building behind our house there is NO RIDE to work.....poor Brodie. Friday I opened the door to a turck to check the window and Brodie was quick to jump into the truck. It took me getting a cheese treat to get him out. He wants to ride and now he is limited to going to the bank or maybe a job now and then with Keith. He is so cute in the Ben truck.

Mommy When Are You Blogging Tonight?????

Brodie and Ace can't wait for me to get on the computer, while I am blogging they know that if they act like they want to go outside I will give them a snack,due to the fact I am usually eating something. This is what they look like when we open the computer now. They have me well trained.

Emily's BIG GIRL World

Emily is working hard these days, she has taken on a job at Bank Independent in Decatur that is about 30 - 35 hours per week, she has four classes this semester and is just being a kid. I think she is working herself too hard.... she will not give up I am proud of her and the fact that she always finds good in everythings she is a part of.

Eight Days Until Meagn is 20

For those of you that don't remember or have not seen pictures of Meagan when she was a cute BABY here they are..... I know you have heard she will be 20 March 3rd, but it's just hard to believe that I am old enough to have my baby turn 20 ! Ha Ha !!!

Weekend Fun!

This weekend Emily, Ashley, Memaw and I went to Kayla Roberts wedding tea. It was very nice to spend time with the girls. After the tea, I went over to Guntersville to join Keith at our boat. We decided to stay the night and once again Emily was left to take care of the boys at home. Brodie and Ace are lucky to have a big Sis that loves them so much. During the night a wild storm started and we were rocking and rolling through the night. Today we did not want to come home, but work was calling. I am excited Meagan plans on coming home from Tuscaloosa this weekend. We have not gotten to see her since the Christmas holidays.

Teaching old dogs new tricks

Tonight my oldest daughter Ashley took on a huge job to show me how to blog. She sent out the challange for us to start one and I had to step up. I so love reading her's and others so I guess this is the next step. I am still not sure about this computer stuff, I sound like my grandmother when I got my new cassest tape player.... yes I did retire the 8 track, never knowing this would be in my future, I am so lucky to have 3 beautiful daughters that teach me new things everyday.
We are very lucky to have a large family and get to enjoy being together whenever possible. We do need to think during this time in our world, how lucky we are. You never know what's around the next corner. I know we have (the entire family) taught the girls well and I know they are ready to "Grow Up" I don't think that I am, I love having Emily back home. Well I better stop or I will start crying. Bless you All

Brodie loves attention and is always ready for a game of anything, he loves to play. If Dad is away, some times he is not on his best behavior. Emily and Wes have had to call Keith for him to talk to Brodie on the speaker phone and tell hem to mind them.
